The Alpbachtaler Lauser-Sauser is a fast-paced, Alpine coaster with a downhill track over 1 kilometre long and a descent of 134 metres. It has Austria’s highest in-line twist and several great jumps – this is a thrill that has to be experienced to be believed. We dare you not to be shrieking with excitement at the photo point during the run!

To keep you and the family fuelled, there are 25 cosy and rustic mountain huts, run by the owners themselves, offering delicious local delicacies to suit every taste in idyllic surroundings. Offering classic hut dishes such as Brandenberger Prügeltorte cake, “Heumilchkäse” cheese and Krautinger Schnapps, the kids will love a tasty Kaspressknödel soup or a crispy schnitzel with chips before they get back to the action!

Living on the sledge
The certified toboggan run from the Lanerköpflbahn through beautiful alpine pastures to Niederau is an absolute classic for the whole family! This thrilling run twists and turns for 6km back down to the village with a drop of 736m – not for the faint-hearted, it will leave you breathless and your kids begging to do it again and again!
